Many thanks to David & Linda who originally offered me the use of semen from their great old dog Hobo after I mentioned I was chasing his bloodline via the US. Sadly it didn’t take, but the next option was using Breaker, who has 5 crosses to Cherimoya Cattle Hobo, along with multiple crosses to Kenbrook Cattle King, who Linda describes as just one of those perfectly temperamented cattle dogs with a talent for working. I like the style of King too.
I cannot be any happier with this girl. Her first two R Obedience passes the day she turned 6 months old, and her title at 7 months old, with high scores and ribbons along the way.
6 months old and working in the shearing shed and also learning to drive sheep along the roads. A super quick learner, mature beyond her years she is just born to work. A clean poll bite, not obsessed with the heels and an extremely clear head. She reads most situations perfectly. Looking forward to getting her onto cattle soon.
